Dion’s Chicago Dream Vault
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois
Introduction
Dion's Chicago Dream is an organization that utilizes food to build the infrastructure communities deserve. One part of their system is a smart locker system called the Dream Vault. UIC's Dream Vault, located in the basement of Student Center West, receives deliveries of fresh quality produce every morning. Registered students are able to stop at the Vault to pick up their box of fresh produce, like fruits and vegetables, every week. This program is a crucial step towards getting healthy foods into the hands of food-insecure students.
