Monday, September 9 (Guided chill, Sound Bath)

Ambient lighting, calming music, intentional breathing are all featured in our Guided Chill Sound Bath. If you love our Stress Management Workshop, you will LOVE our Sound Bath! Come join us as we relax our body and our brains!

First Session: 12:00-12:40pm

Second Session: 1:00-1:40pm

Tuesday, September 10 (Make Your Own Gratitude Jar)

It can be easy to fall into a negative thinking trap, especially when you’re stressed to the max. Join us in creating a customized gratitude jar filled with positive notes to help yourself maintain a healthy mindset that will help you succeed in life!

Come join us from 10am-12pm to make DIY gratitude jars!

Location is at Wellness Center, Suite 238

 

Wednesday, September 11 (Drive to Thrive Main Event)

Being a college student is stressful and tough, so why not relax with a free chair massage? Join us along with the College of Pharmacy, College of Applied Health & Sciences, College of Nursing, College of Dentistry, Counseling Center, and Student Recreation Center to get a free blood pressure check, free chair massage, play some fun games, and learn about all aspects of health and wellness including oral health, sexual health, self-care tactics, nutrition, exercise, and more!

Come join us for this big event in the quad from 10am-2pm. TONS of goodies will be given!

Thursday, September 12 (Outdoor Yoga Hosted by The REC Center)

Soak up some healthy Vitamin D and enjoy the outdoors in between classes while we practice deep breathing exercises and beginners yoga with Campus Recreation. Yoga mats will be provided.

Yoga will occur from 2-2: 45 pm.

Location is at Student Recreational Facilities on Halsted St.

 

Friday, September 13 (Make Your Own Mini Body/Lip Scrub)

Self-care is an important aspect of wellness, so we want you to pamper yourself at home and de-stress with your very own body/lip scrub. The event will feature several ingredients including (but not limited to) oatmeal, brown sugar, honey, lemon, and multiple essential oils in order to allow you to customize your scrub based on your personal preferences.

Join us in making DIY body/lip scrubs from 2-4pm.

Location is at Wellness Center, Suite 238
